BettyBoop
Betty Boop was pulled from the county shelter kill room and due to be put down because she was sick. A week of antibiotics had her all better. One of our PAWS volunteers fell in love with her, and adopted her after her older cat had to be put to sleep for health reasons. She has breathed new life into the other house cat. She has been renamed Bianka and per her new owner, "was everything I was looking for. She loves to be held and to lay with me. She's got a wonderful personality and disposition. I couldn't have asked for a better match."

I was living behind an auto repair shop in Miami. A nice lady Susie and nice man David, who work there, made sure I got spayed and also made sure I got to a rescue because I have no back feet! There were many people involved, Mary-Frances to coordinate transporting me to the rescue group. Alyssa is the nice volunteer who took me in her car from Miami to Cocoa. I was adopted almost immediately and am doing great in my new home! Thanks everyone!
Missy
My foster mom pulled me from the Cox Road kill room. I had been dumped along with a couple of other cats and a dog or two, our owners just wanted to clean house, I guess! Anyway, I didn't like other cats and PAWS worked really hard to get me over that little problem...took my foster mom 6 months and I was running around the house without a worry (with 20 other cats). Then...I found a home all by myself! Hah!!

My case was very special! I was a kitten in a home with kids, and having a blast, then suddenly my adult attitude had me sent away! The rescue person took me to a homeopathic vet where they diagnosed my "bully syndrome" and I was given two remedies (Lachesis and Bella Donna). I got so nice I could be adopted. Yay! Thanks PAWS!
