Tiffany
Amy and I are so happy we made an unscheduled stop at PetSmart just before Christmas and were introduced to Tiffany. She is a lovely little kitty and such a welcome addition to our home. She has made herself at home and is so much fun here. You wouldn`t believe how two senior citizens could enjoy a kitty so much. She loves to play, always uses her litter box, and always sleeps on our bed at night after a little play time. She eats well but likes her treats more than her dry food.
We just returned from a 3 day trip in our R/V and she was no problem at all - adjusted very well. ~Amy and Joe
Dewey D
After suddenly losing our White Kitty with the ice blue eyes right before the Thanksgiving holiday, we were very sad. What was there to be thankful for? we thought. Our hearts were broken. There was that gnawing, sick feeling we just couldn't seem to shake when you lose something so loved.
And then one Sunday in January, while in a PetSmart in Melbourne, I found my eyes gazing into the copper eyes of this red, Persian beauty. I left the PetSmart
continuing on with my day. However, I just could not stop thinking about those mesmerizing, copper eyes of that red, tabby, Persian cat!
Finishing a latte at Starbucks with my 20 year-old son, I asked him if he would like to see this copper-eyed feline that kept permeating my thoughts. "Sure," he said. So we got into the car and headed back to PetSmart.
I led him over to the cage with the red Persian and when he laid eyes
on the cat, he smiled and said "Mom, you have to get this cat!"
Well, my boyfriend was so happy to see me so happy after months of
melancholy, he quickly agreed to adopt the red-haired, four-legged,
puff ball we now call Laroux (red-haired one in French).
Laroux is the sweetest, most loving pet either of us have ever experienced in our lives. And, our lives are now so much richer and happier with Laroux being a part of it. The idea that Laroux may have been put to sleep for lack of having a home is something we discuss often. We are so thankful to PAWS for giving us the opportunity to have Laroux in our home. Thank you PAWS! ~Nancy and Jerry
Sweet Pea
A slightly blurry photo of SweetPea. She is settling in just fine now. She comes down every morning for breakfast in the kitchen with the other two cats, and she lingers to inspect every bowl...
She loves to spend the day either on Matt's bed or if she's feeling social, on the ledge that parallels the staircase in the photo, at the top of the stairs. She's got plenty of room to spread out and snooze, and her back is protected.
Norton
Norton loved his trip to TN. We got home yesterday and will be home for a week. We will go back to TN for one more week and then it is back to school. Norton loves riding in the car. I have attached some pictures of him. He looks great and his personality has really come out. He has no sense of personal space and is very comfortable climbing onto my face to sleep at night! He is very vocal when he is moved.:-) He also walks right across the dogs when they are sleeping on the floor instead of walking around them. I am glad to hear all the Persians got adopted, they really are a special breed. ~Lorraine
