Spot
“Spot” A.K.A. “Charlie” and my mom are getting on quite well! I don’t know how, but somehow she has managed to turn the once sweet, docile kitty into a very whiney, demanding spoiled cat! It’s hysterical! He meows, and she replies, “How high?” She can’t even talk on the telephone without him loudly objecting to the intrusion upon her affections. But all in all, he is a very sweet boy and she loves him dearly!! Everything in her house is now his! His couch, his bed, his chairs, his hamper, his clothes basket, his toys, etc., and the list goes on and on… So that’s about all the news I have to report for now, and life is good! Both cat and cat owner are getting along famously with each other – and so begins another true love story!! : ) ~Paula
Ollie
I can not tell you how happy we are with our two new family members Ollie and Dallas. Ollie's name fit him perfectly so no change there. They are both loving and gentle kitties. Ollie walked in and acted like he was inspecting and then decided he liked what he saw. It is like he has always been ours. He made himself right at home instantly. I am not sure if he had ever seen a dog before but our gentle little beagle, that has grown up with cats, did not phase him in the least. Our 11 year old cat Tansy took a little time getting used to Ollie but Ollie knew the drill and just backed off and let her warm up slowly. He kept trying to make friends until she finally gave in. Ollie is very playful and interested in everything. He has picked a favorite toy and drags it all over the house. They both are well behaved about all the important things, litter use, only clawing the scratching posts, and not fighting. We love them. I want to thank you and Anthea for being so helpful in our search for our new family members. I also want you to know what a wonderful organization we think PAWS is. You members devotion to helping these animals in need is inspiring and very touching. ~Cheyenne
Casper
Casper is doing great, he learned very quickly how to use the kitty door out to the screened porch Just to let you know that Casper is doing well. I have a lake behind my house and a screened porch, Casper spends most of his time out there enjoying the birds and the fresh air. Casper is very sweet and very loving, he just can't get enough attention. Grace and Casper had a great time this morning chasing each other around the house, they played so much they have both slept all afternoon. He is a pleasure to have around.
