Polka Dot

They are doing well! Polka Dot is getting used to the family and is not hiding as much! The first night was rough because P meowed for hours it seemed like! Last night was better so tonight she should do just fine! The kids love the cats! Polka Dot loves them too but is a little more reserved! Thank you for letting us adopt them the kids truly love them!!

Elmo

They are doing well! Elmo came in and toured the house and made himself at home. He has adjusted well. The kids love the cats! And I know that Elmo loves them. Thank you for letting us adopt them the kids truly love them!!

Madison - Manx

Maddie is so very excellent. She and Red are friends already. Hope the others are finding homes! "As you can see by the pictures I have adopted the sofa for myself. My housekeeper shouldn’t be sitting anyway – he has plenty to do to make sure I am well taken care of. Thank you for sending me to my new human, he is doing pretty well with things on my wish list." Prince

It's now been two weeks since "Prince's" (Pyewacket's) arrival here. He has totally integrated into the dynamics of our household and the two cats get along like they've been together for years! (I'd say that's gotta be record time!) They are always together...sleep together, play together, eat together...never too far apart from each other. Fendi (our Russian Blue female) at first became a bit more aloof than normal toward the humans in the household while she was fixated on the newcomer. Even our new arrival became a little shy while he got used to his new surroundings. I am happy to say that both cats are now getting back to normal with us while they seem to have become "best buds" with each other! Fendi is back to her old self with us and Pyewacket has returned to his head-butting and lap-sitting while purring so loudly you can actually hear him in the next room. When approached he just FALLS OVER onto his back so he can be petted and rubbed! Seems like Fendi and Pye are a pretty good match and a "PAWS" success story! Georgie

All is well here in Apopka with our new babies! We love them so much. They were a little scared at first, but they seem to be adjusting now. They are sleeping right now……….so cute! We put up the baby gate, so they have access to our kitchen and laundry room area. We bought them one of those stands like you had. They both have crawled all over it………sleeping in the bottom section right now! They have used the litter box and have been eating and drinking. That’s a good sign that they are adjusting. Thanks again! Will keep you posted. Joyce Update 6/13/11: We took them to our vet today and he was very happy to see we had some new pets. He checked them out and said they were very healthy little kittens……as well as being super handsome! We told him about our positive experience with your rescue group. He was impressed with the details of your paperwork. He agreed with your philosophy about the Single Kitten Syndrome. He said he has seen that aggressive behavior happen many times with his customers that have only one kitten. He asked for the name of your organization so he can refer customers when asked about a good rescue group. Hope all is going well for you. Thank you so much for giving us these wonderful babies!
