This little girl and her siblings have had a difficult time. They were born to a mom cat in the county shelter and PAWS rescued them and put them in a foster home. Mom cat's milk dried up when she came down with an upper respiratory infection. Soon the kittens became sick and the infection settled in their eyes. Despite medication both orally and eye ointments the infection took this little girl's eye.
Her surgery to clean, remove the diseased eye, and suture the area closed will cost $200. This will be done by the vet ophthalmologist when she is bigger.
Any amount that can be donated towards this surgery will be greatly appreciated!
She does just fine with the one eye and is a normal playful, spunky kitten.
