This little boy is part of a litter who was born to a feral momcat. The momcat was caught the night before she gave birth. So luckily for this litter, they will grow up in a home and never know life on the street. Purrfect timing!!!
The feral momcat was very mean so we were unable to handle the kittens much after they were born. We did make a point to handle them a couple of times a day but it was at great risk! So when they were 10 days old, we fixed her and re-released her to her feral colony (she is much happier and we are too). We did test her while she was at the vet for her spay, and she was negative and we are all set for this litter.
The kittens went to a bottle feeder at 10 days old and weaned right on time.
This kitten is a male, brown tabby. Sibling to Jasmine, Joey and Jessie.
He looks like his sister Jessie, he's solid brown tabby with no white, just like her. In the video, so you'll know which kitten he is, he is the one who is to the right (in the litterpan at first) and makes his way around to the group to interact.
The kittens are now used to dogs, very young children, and a busy household! Jackson would enjoy being wrapped up like a baby doll and held!
