This little girl is part of a litter who was born to a feral momcat. The momcat was caught the night before she gave birth. So luckily for this litter, they will grow up in a home and never know life on the street. Purrfect timing!!!
The feral momcat was very mean so we were unable to handle the kittens much after they were born. So when they were 10 days old, we fixed her and re-released her to her feral colony (she is much happier and we are too). We did test her while she was at the vet for her spay, and she was negative and we are all set.
The kittens went to a bottle feeder at 10 days old and weaned right on time.
This kitten is a female, brown tabby. Sibling to Jasmine (adopted), Jackson (adopted) and Joey.
Jessie looks just like her brother, Jackson (adopted). So, in the video, she is the one to the far left, she starts attacking a feather toy. He is the one on the far right, starting out in the litterpan and making his way over to the rest of them to play.
The kittens are now used to dogs, very young children, and a busy household! She loves to be cuddled in a baby blanket :)
