This nice guy was given up at the county shelter on 8/25
Here's their story: Their owner was in hospice and she asked the hospice nurse to please be sure the 2 kitties had a good home. The nurse promised and found them a home after the lady passed away in April. However one of the new owners developed allergies and the hospice nurse was having a nervous breakdown (I don't know how they cope with that job) and the kitties went to the county shelter which is where we heard of them.
His brother is Romy and is a HUGE brown tabby 18 pounds. This guy is a mere 11 pounds - sure feels like more when you are hauling them in a cat carrier!!!
The county shelter is running out of room and one of these nice guys sneezed and that's all it takes to move the kitties in the shelter from adoption row to the kill room.
Both are completely adapted to foster care, they are still getting used to the dog in a "cautious" but not aggressive way.
