Tumbelina's companion, Max the Manx (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
Description: Found “tumbling” in the road .... probably fell from a wheel well or engine...poor baby...
We took her to our vet who checked her out, all ok. Tested neg/neg for Feline Leukemia and FIV. She's spayed and ready to go.
Tumbelina was shy at first but has warmed up and is ok being picked up if facing away from you. She's not one to snuggle under your chin...we're working on it! She loves her buddy Squeeky and is great with other cats and kittens once properly introduced.
She's wary of dogs, to be expected.
PAWS adopts out kittens in pairs, or adopts to a home with another young kitty (3 yrs or so).
Here is why -- this is the best article we have found to explain: http://meowcatrescue.org/resources/articles/12/single-kitten-syndrome/
If you are interested in adopting, please go to www.pawsfla.com and click on the Adoption Policy menu, from there you will find the online application link.
The adoption process typically goes as follows: - you submit an application - foster mom reviews, and will contact you by email - upon approval, foster mom will coordinate an adoption location/time.... or your deposit to hold young kittens - foster mom will email, call or text to coach as needed to help integrate your new kitty
