Max was born to a stray cay colony in a neighborhood - So foster care is the first time he’s been inside. He’s doing great and adapting really fast, very sweet and look at those ears, we think he’s going to be a big boy! Max has no tail.
Max was skittish at first and is OK with his foster family, however he is wary of new people for a little bit, usually warms up within a few minutes, though. He absolutely does not want to approach a dog, so a dog-free home is a must. He freaks out so possibly he was chased by a dog when he lived on the street, we have no way of knowing.
Max loves to be right at your feet. He comes over and rolls over on his back, and loves tummy rubs and being picked up.
And yes, he looks like a bunny when he runs :)
PAWS adopts out kittens in pairs, or adopts to a home with another young kitty (3 yrs or so).
Here is why -- this is the best article we have found to explain: http://meowcatrescue.org/resources/articles/12/single-kitten-syndrome/
If you are interested in adopting, please go to www.pawsfla.com and click on the Adoption Policy menu, from there you will find the online application link.
