Description:
Marcie is a very sweet neurologic kitten who was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. This is where the formation of the cerebella, the portion of the brain that controls movement, is arrested for some reason. In Marcie's case it was most likely because of the distemper virus during gestation.
Marcie is very sweet and can navigate to the food and water and litterpan. She will need a covered pan as she sometimes misjudges the edge!
Marcie IS ADOPTABLE!!! We are just trying to start her treatment ASAP because she is still growing, now is the time to try to treat her with supplements and homeopathic remedies.
Marcie is on supplements to promote more cerebellar growth. She is under the care of a homeopathic vet, Dr. Lisa Edwards, at Coastal Animal Hospital in Rockledge.
