The mostly brown pup is still available for adoption. Butler and Darwin are Chihuahua Dachshund mix males born in July of 2014. Darwin is mostly brown with a little white chest, short legged and stocky like a Dachshund. His coat is very short and easy to care for and he currently weighs in around 9 pounds. He is the confident pup in his litter, friendly and social, loves to play. Butler is more petite and has some white mixed in his mostly brown coat. He currently weighs in at under 7 pounds. His hair is a little longer than Darwin's but is still considered short and is easy to care for. He is super sweet, always at your heals and while he loves to play with the other dogs he is very much a people pup. They both get along with other dogs, cats and children. Their mother, Gumdrop, is also avaiable for adoption and listed on this site. She is full grown at just over 10 pounds and is a super sweet tri-color chihuahua. All dogs adopted from PAWS have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated appropriately for their age, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites and micochipped. All dogs over 8 months are tested for heartworms.
