Description: Flynn was pulled from a local shelter after he came in as stray that no one came to claim. He is a tan and white basset hound male approximately 5 years old. Not in the best shape we are working on getting him into better health. He is thin, on antibiotics for his skin and ear infections and is heartworm positive. Will have surgery early Sept for neuter, skin tag removal and extractions of a few worn down teeth. Then he will be ready to go to his home. Heartworm treatment can begin in a couple months and will be done through the rescue vet. Flynn is a sweet dog, good with other dog and cats. Likes to go for walks, laid back and easy going but will play with toys and other dogs. Likes tug o war. House and crate trained. If interested please email Tina at tropicllc@msn.com with questions or for any application.
All dogs adopted from PAWS have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated appropriately for their age, spayed/neutered, treated for internal and external parasites and microchipped. All dogs over 8 months are tested for heartworms.
