Description: We got a call about this kitty who showed up in a business parking lot near Cocoa Village. He was crying and crying and crying so we figured he was hungry. He was hiding under a dumpster so we set a humane trap and got him in 2 minutes. Yep, he was hungreeeeeee!!! Thus his name, because we called him Hungry Jack at first ....
Jack is barely a year old, if that. We checked the brevardlostpets site and no one reported a black & white cat lost near Cocoa Village.
We let him eat all he wanted for 1 week to fatten up before we had him vetted. He was ribby (you could feel his ribs very easily, no fat over them) and he literally ate and ate and ate and ate.....we also gave him vitamins and lots of canned food. He must have put on 2 pounds in the first week!
Jack is fully vetted now, tested, shots, fixed. Very sweet and as you can see in the pictures he must have had his picture made before, he's a poser!!! He loves attention, knows his name, OK being picked up, is ok with other cats in his face. He's what we call a "drop in" - you can take him home and just drop him into the mix and he adjusts immediately.
Jack is fine with our gentle dog, all the other cats, loves to be with you in the kitchen, nothing fazes this guy. He loves to sleep with you at night, sometimes purring next to your pillow with his face in your hair LOL.
He's fine being picked up any which way so would be great for kids.
As you can see in the side view picture, his build is long and lanky. He has a nice lush coat and is shiny black and shiny white!
He would be good in any home, we think!
