Teddy & his brother were found abandoned as newborns, & taken to Palm Bay Animal Clinic. They were badly underweight, dehydrated, & in need of some intensive TLC. PAWS took the siblings to rehab & bottle raise. Unfortunately Teddy's brother, who was very lethargic & unable to eat, did not make it through the night. But Teddy, ever so feisty, learned to suck from the bottle right away, & made a slow & determined comeback to full health. At 5 weeks of age, he is a normal, demanding, playful little kitten. And as a result of constant human attention, he is very tuned in to people, quite the snuggle bunny, rare for a kitten so young. He must be on the couch with his foster Mom, whether it be to chew on her arm, play, sleep in her lap, or cuddle next to her for R&R.
Teddy should be ready for a new home late July or early August.
