We just got these little guys from a couple who were about to turn them over to the county shelter, they were found behind a shed and their momcat was a stray cat. These kittens are too young for county shelter staff to care for, so they would have been killed after stray time hold of 5 days unless a rescue stepped up - which we did!!
There are 3 males: Lorax who is in this picture, and Linus, Luke (adopted), and 1 female, Lulu (adopted).
Lorax is the only one with white on his chin (actually lines that look like drips of milk!)
The two who have high foreheads and slightly smushy faces are Linus and Lorax....all have longer fur like a Persian.
Lorax's newest picture, where he is sitting on top of their new scratching post, he had just eaten so has a ring of canned food on his nose - too cute!
UPDATE: We are offering these kittens under our "foster to adopt" program. With this program you keep them in a spare small bathroom for their safety, your family can to see them grow up from their current age at 5-6 weeks, and we coordinate vet appointments for shots and test and neuter when they get big enough (they need to be 8 weeks old and over 2 pounds). With "foster to adopt" you actually go ahead and sign the adoption paperwork, pay the adoption fee, and we coordinate the vetting thru our foster moms and their closest PAWS veterinarian. Send over your application now! Note: these kittens are very small and cannot go to a home with children under 6. Thank you for understanding our caution.
We will get more pictures as they grow - our camera date is incorrect, so please ignore that.
