Description:

NOTE: please ignore the date on the pictures - it's not really 2004 now, haha, the camera needs the date reset every time we take out the SD card, sigh, so we quit doing it....

This beautiful girl was found dumped on the street just before Christmas Eve! She is jumped into one of our volunteer's arms, scared of being outside, and extremely hungry!!! We think she was on the street a couple of days before she was found.

She has many of the traits of a Norwegian Forest Cat so we are showing her as a NFC mix. She has an apple head, her nose is too short to be a Maine Coon, her forehead is too rounded to be a Maine Coon, and her coat is so silky and very much like our previous foster kitty, Ferily, who was a NFC.

So, with all that, we are pretty sure she's a NFC mix.

Look at that tail...wow! what a gorgeous girl!!

UPDATE: After her time on the street, we took her to the vet & they found a little abcess on her foot, and she was running a slight temperature from it, so we treated that, then a couple of weeks later, spayed her.

Here's a little bit more about her personality:

Dolly sleeps with her foster dad. She loves to be petted/brushed, but on her own terms. She does not like to be held.  She is very playful – never gets tired of a laser toy or a peacock feather.

She loves the outdoor screened garden, and she spends hours sitting there and watching squirrels and birds. Dolly is pretty independent, but she likes the company of other cats. She gets unhappy when left without human company for a long time (for example when her foster dad travels and a caretaker visits only twice a day for about 30 min).
