This is a very nice Persian with a non-peke face (not smushed). He does have long fur which will need care (daily combing to keep it unmatted). Persians are a manmade breed so this fur did not "evolve" with them - we have to care for it for them. Watson LOVES being brushed so this makes it easy to keep his fur silky and tangle free.

We think his color is called Chinchilla or shell cameo - This guy seems to be colored both gold and silver, which is stunning.

This guy was dumped by his owner due to "fleas" - we have taken care of that, fleas are easy to treat! He has a great personality and loves attention. 

Watson is curious about other cats & does not hiss at anyone outside his cage - he is very even tempered! He was okay for us trimming his nails, even, in a new, strange foster home...(of course wrapped in a towel the first time!)

Watson bumped his little nose on the carrier door, so he has a little rubbed spot that you can sort of see in the last picture. It's clearing up daily. Poor little guy. 

He is very friendly with people, comes running up to you when you come into the room. He likes canned food, and eats it very slowly (his mouth is small of course because of his breeding). He likes to take a bite away from the plate and eat it a few inches away, right on the floor, crazy kitty!

In the foster room, he's just hanging out and not really playing yet - we are watching his personality with the other kitties so we can make sure to place him in a home he can enjoy.

He is 3 years old (per the owner) and we have done all his necessary vaccines. He's ready to go after he finishes his last few days of meds (he did sneeze after leaving the county shelter, so we are near the end of his 14 days of antibiotics...they will be finished 12/11).
