Description:

This very nice momcat was at the county shelter with 4 babies.

Chelsea also nursed 2 other kittens who didn't have a momcat. She was a great momcat and took in the extra kittens like a pro. All her kittens are weaned and placed.

She is moderately playful - she loves the wand with the mylar fringe! She also likes to occasionally play chase, or play with a mouse toy....And the laser pointer.

Chelsea also likes to be with her human, rubs up against your legs - she's not too fond of other cats getting really close to her, she likes her "Space".

Chelsea would do best in a home alone or with just a couple other cats so there is plenty of room for everyone. She is extremely friendly, OK being picked up, OK around dogs, but no young children.

We got a good closeup of her so you can see the rich blue color of her eyes, she is a stunning cat.

UPDATE: We got some good pictures of this beauty while she was stalking a bug that got in the front door. She and several other cats (see pictures) were all stalking the bug, but Chelsea would make sure they knew it was "her" bug for now!!!  You can see her gorgeous blue eyes in the pictures, plus how she gets along with other cats as long as she has a couple of feet of her "space"!!

Update 2013: Chelsea has a habit of leaping up onto your back but landing and staying with no clawing - amazing, she's incredible. Just imagine if you could teach her to jump on command like that...
