This little guy was turned in at the county shelter by his owners on 8/4. We saw his picture in an email list of "desperates" to place with other rescues from the county shelter. The county shelter is what they call "open intake" (they are tax funded so they cannot refuse anything, whereas we are private and are not obligated to take everything)....so they are overwhelmed.... their employees send out pictures to no-kill and private rescues, and we can take the kitties from them.
So, we saw his picture and just kept going back to it in the email - just something about this guy grabbed our attention, and we were right - what a personality! He didn't have a name...so we gave him a superhero name as he deserves, he's a great kitty.
We held him in a cage for a couple of days till he got used to the routine in the foster room. He adapted fast but wanted out and was quite vocal about it, climbing the bars!!! So we let him out after 2 days and snapped some pictures of him sniffing his way around the room. We will get better pictures soon.
He is about 5-1/2 months, his adult fangs are just coming in. He loves being held and purrs up a storm. As you hold him he rubs his face against your nose!!
He is being treated for earmites and will be ready to go on 8/10...stay tuned on this bat-channel, haha!
