Hank was found on the street. Mona had seen him one other time when he was freshly dumped by his owner, then a few weeks later, after he was dirtier and obviously was not thriving on the street....so she grabbed him that 2nd time.

Hank also USED TO overstimulate when petted and had smacked at his foster mom. He's perfectly fine now, we think it's because he was treated badly, as he was found in a very bad part of town - and also he was extremely hungry. 

Hank does like his "space" in the foster room and only one other big male and he seem to like to growl at each other! 

Hank even let us put a bow tie on him for Halloween..we think he liked it :)

He has learned to share in the foster room, and is OK living inside, we think he's figured out this life is much better than outside! He also absolutely LOVES to be combed. Hank's fur is very thick so this helps it stay groomed. We comb his back and sides every day and he purrs up a storm and will follow you to comb him even more...
