Description:We have just pulled this BEAUTIFUL kitty from the county shelter. Her coat is a shimmery silver that is typical of a Korat. It's not the dark pewter, but a lighter shade....gorgeous!
She was dropped off in the cages outside with no card signed so she had to do stray time (all the people would have to do is sign a card and she could have gone straight to adoption - with no card, however, the animals have to stay an extra 5 days just in case they were "lost" to give the owner time to reclaim.).
She was so beautiful we had our name on her from day one before she was even processed in.
The shelter showed her as 4 years old. However we looked in her mouth and her teeth are blinding white and there is zero buildup of tartar that we could see (we will get a closer look later) and we are showing her as 1 year old. She is VERY petite (like a Persian) and her round head and round eyes are clues that she has some Persian in her. However her nose is not smushed and she has no trouble breathing, or any drippy eyes.
She is a peach. She is very sweet and loves being on your lap. She did not hiss at any other cats around her cage so we are thinking she was with other cats.
Our first order of business is a spay. She has her rabies vaccine, test, worming, and distemper. It looks like her coat has been shaved a few weeks ago. We will get better pictures soon. The county shelter is hard to find a good place to take pictures. As you can see in the closeup her eyes are so dialated that she is obviously scared to death at being in such an environment.
