Description:
DOB appx June 1 2007. DSH brown mackeral tabby tux neutered male. Found on the side of the road with a smaller litter and a mom, plus another female, on Friday the 13th in the rain. We caught the last kitten and it is now 4 days later! It was rainy, thundering and lightning, they were so scared when dumped from a nice warm home, into the woods, even tame cats and kittens cannot always be captured again immediately. We were coaxing and trapping them for 4 days, in the rain (are we dedicated or WHAT). It is very scared and timid, but hungry so we feed it and hope it trusts us soon. It only takes 3 months for a cat or kitten to revert completely to a wild state. People need to understand that dumping them in the woods isn't a good thing, there is a food chain out there consisting of owls, hawks, snakes, and yes even feral pigs will eat kittens. The litter had evidently been around dogs, because one of the foster moms has a dog and one kitten went right up to the dog. He got his name because he got under a Panama Jack ballcap and ran across the room with it on his head! Contact: Mona at meowmail1@yahoo.com
