DOB appx January 2009. DSH brown classic tux, neutered male. We got a phone call from a local high school about a "pregnant cat in a drainpipe" and when we got there, it was this kitty who is not pregnant (it's male!!!) and very, very friendly. The students had been feeding him in the drain every day. He came right out to us and we put him in a carrier.

The students had been feeding him in the drain every day. He came right out to us and we put him in a carrier.
He is SO HUGE he barely fit in the carrier (due to his height). This is one of those very, very large bone structure cats. At age 1-1/2 (estimate) he has a monster build and goes almost 18 pounds with no excess fat!!! Weighed in at the vet 17 pounds, 6 ounces.
Seems to get along ok with other cats (after a day of hissing)....probably will be fine with dogs. Very gentle!
We originally named him Jeb but after thinking a few days we settled on T-Rex, due to his stature. He's so sweet, though, our gentle giant!!! ....he LOVES to be petted and will roll around on his back (like in the picture). Rubs his face on everything while you pet him, he eats up the attention!
