My name is Naomi, I am a tuxedo Maine Coon girl around 8 years old. I am very vocal as I will trill if you talk to me.  My foster mom has nicknamed me "Velcro" because whenever a lap is formed in the house, I'm there in 2 seconds to stretch out and nap on it.  I am a lap-cat extraordinaire.  It is my purpose in life.  When people pet my rabbit-like fur, they start relaxing immediately.  I am a rather long and tall cat so I need a good sized lap to snuggle in.  People mistakenly call me "fat", it's rude and totally inaccurate, I have fluffy hair which kinda makes me look slightly chunky, but the truth is that I have a long, lean frame.  I am so mellow that my foster mother sometimes checks me for a pulse.  Then when the mood strikes me, I play like a young cat.  However, these moods are few and far between, I'm really focused on leisure time activities right now.  I do enjoy my catnip, the 'nip always brings on one of my youthful play sessions.  I'm helpless to avoid the 'nip, it just smells so good, as soon as you bring out the container, I start talking!  So if you are looking for a cat to help you relax, I'm your coach, I'll teach you everything I've learned in my eight years of power-napping (as illustrated in this photo of me in my custom tiki hut) I know, I make relaxing look so easy....
