DOB appx July 2009, we think this sweetie is about a year old. She was dumped at a local gas station with her kittens. The lady put them on the sidewalk, stomped her feet to make them run away, then drove off. (that is very illegal and fines are $500 per animal!!!) The kittens were taken in by a customer, and the momcat is now in rescue.
She is very sweet and will actually raise up on her hind legs to reach your hand to be petted. OK being held. Seems to be ok with other cats, the typical hissing is going on while she adjusts.
Update - this is the best all around kitty! Very tolerant of everything, loves people, greets everyone, and she hums and makes all sorts of squeaks about lots of things.
