Est DOB Jan 1999 DSH Black smoked (entire undercoat is white). Big Bear was found in his foster mom’s neighborhood in late January. After going door-to-door to find out who he belonged to (as he didn’t get to be so sweet and 16 pounds living off the streets), but had no luck. So it’s possible that his owner died and he had nowhere to go for his ever-so-important meals. When he went for his first vet visit, he was already neutered & he had some teeth missing & has since had a few more pulled. Bloodwork was done and nothing pointed to any reason why he was missing so many teeth, unless he just wasn’t fed a proper diet his whole life. Once you’ve seen him in person, you know why he was named “Big Bear” and once you’ve held him … it’s like holding a huge, smushy, plush teddy bear ? He got along great immediately with the other foster cats and loves being pet, kissed, brushed … you can do just about anything with him and he doesn’t care (well, except for taking medicine).
