In December Clara was playing so hard she fell awkwardly off the bed and fractured her leg! The vet said it's the most common fracture kittens get, it's a very small bone, and a simple splint was put on her leg. She went back every week for 6 weeks, to have it re-splinted, plus xrays taken every other week to check progress. 

3/3/10 is Clara's next round of xrays - CROSS FINGERS AND PAWS! She is going stir crazy being confined to a small cage (vet's orders) to limit her running around because she is no longer wearing a splint. Hopefully this confinement and the calcium will promote the final healing....and it did!!! YAYYY!! Clara's leg is almost completely healed! See her new picture with no cast on!!

She is the SWEETEST thing- loves to be held, purrs up a storm!
