My name is Big Love.  I am a 5 year old, male, Maine Coon which means I’m completely relaxed (sometimes my foster mom checks me for a pulse, I’m so chilled out) and totally affectionate!  I was rescued from the kill room at the local animal. I'm about 16 pounds of lovin', but I assure you, I only look humongous because of all my thick Maine Coon fur (ok, I have a jelly belly but it's still all the fur that makes me look chunky). I invented the art of being a lap cat, my foster Mom picks me up, rubs my belly and I rub my face on her chin.  I now live with 8 other cats and have not had a single hissing match or altercation with any of them. I'm a lover not a fighter. I don't believe in confrontations, I'm all about peace, love, harmony and snacks. I follow all of the house guests around (even the ones I have just met, no such thing as a stranger in my house) and will give a single meow to let you know I’m ready for affection.  I will give you a kiss to let you know that I really, really love what you are doing and am very happy that you are doing it. I've lived with dogs, cats, and people, I love them all. Really, just put me in any home, I'll make myself comfortable and fit in with the crowd within minutes, no worries. I am a gently soul and would be ideal for any home.  At light, I sleep next to my foster mom and often times, I put my head on her shoulder.  I purr a lot, I love people and love snuggling down at bed time, you don't even have to pet me, you can hear me purr as I nestle in next to you.  I like playing with ping pong balls and I love hanging out in the courtyard with the fresh air and lizards.  I need a home with someone to love me and brush me, I love to get brushed. I love riding around town in the car with her, I either sit on her lap or sit in the passenger seat and look out the window, I love driving around in the car, not in a carrier, in a seat, I'm the ideal travel companion, calm, cool and collected.  I'm really like to travel, my bags are packed, just pick me up.
