Hernando was found when one of our previous adopters was walking her dog. He came running out of the bushes, and was very hungry and thirsty. She contacted us and we took him in. He has been tested for Feline Leukemia, and is 8 weeks old, so we started his vaccines and applied flea meds and gave him wormer. He is neutered too. The vet checked his bum becuase it looks like he has been straining a bit to poop. His poo's are fine, but this does happen on the street when they get dehydrated.
Hernando is outgoing, fun, and loves to play with the other kittens in our foster room. We have not yet introduced him to dogs and children, but we are sure with proper introduction he will do fine.

PAWS adopts out kittens in pairs, or adopts to a home with another young kitty (3 yrs or so). Applications for single kittens will not be considered, and due to the number of kittens in 2021 & 2022* we will not be able to respond if you request a single kitten only.
*due to COVID & lack of spay/neuter in 2020-2021, rescues are slammed with 2022 kittens. We need foster homes!
