Description:

Lucas is a total sweetie and was at the county shelter. He had a horrific case of mange (see older photo). He is clear now!!!

Lucas is slightly timid at first - we are pretty sure he was chased away / thrown rocks at while he was on the street. He runs if you have a phone in your hand trying to take a photo. We finally got a couple of pix though!!!  And now he has learned the camera is not a big deal!!!

He is skittish around our hyper rescue dog, however he does stay in the room (just warily under a chair) so we think with a gentle dog he would be fine.

Lucas knows his name (we also call him Lukey-Luke) and.. he plays with the kittens very gently in the foster room. He also plays with the toys and has a grand old time!!!

Lucas is tested, fixed, vaccinated, wormed, etc and ready to roll!  

We think he is about a year to a year-and-a-half old, as he is very playful. His favorite toy so far is a bottle cap LOL.

Lucas would be best with older children because he plays a bit and then will do a little nip to your arm or leg, and run away. He never breaks the skin ....we are trying to figure out if he's jealous from other cats ....or he wants to keep playing ....or if he's simply overstimulated.
