WANT TO ADOPT?
THEN.....READ THE POLICIES BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION
PAWS adopts out kittens in pairs, or adopts to a home with another young kitty (3 yrs or so). Applications for single kittens will not be considered, and due to the number of kittens in 2021* we will not be able to respond if you request a single kitten only.
*due to COVID & lack of spay/neuter in 2020, rescues are slammed with 2021 kittens.
Here is why we adopt in pairs -- this is the best article we have found to explain:

HERE IS THE BIO FOR ELLIE:
Ellie was just found on the streets May 21. She was under a house, luckily the nice lady got her over to us. Ellie was very hungry and covered in fleas. Our guess on her age was about seven weeks old in her first picture - riding on the gal's lap to our foster home.
The lady looked for other kittens or a mom cat and didn't see any. We have noted that she is not good with dogs or kids because she is still a little shy but once she settles in she is comfortable with her family. So we believe older children are a best bet for her.
Ellie has adapted to life indoors and is a total sweetheart.
The first time at a vet exam, we were told she has a grade 1 heart murmur. The second visit we were told she has a grade 4 and to get her an appointment with a heart specialist. We did a fundraiser and were able to get an appointment quickly. The specialist stated it is grade 2 (soft but consistent) and should be monitored through her annual vet visits. We are still sending her for an echocardiogram to ensure a cardiologist gets a look at her heart and gives us a thumbs up.
She definitely plays just as hard as the other kittens she is with! Nothing slows her down. Her appetite and growth is completely on par with other kittens. See her videos!
