DOB approx. 3/27/09. Male DSH white with black spots. Sammy was literally living in a hole in the ground when this nice family found him.  They wanted to make sure the he got a good forever home so they called PAWS. We took him in and found that he is quite a little character. He loves to play. I have found him playing with smaller kittens that are in a large kennel for isolation. He would give them toys and sometimes take their toys. But most of the time he was trying to play with them. He has been with children and is around other kittens and cats. He loves to play! He has the coolest spots like a Dalmatian.

Sammy is very social and doesn't mind being handled. He will pat you with his paw to see if it is ok to get on your lap and to tell you not to stop petting him. He has on occasion given me a lick on the face to wake me up to let me know he was there. If that didn't do the job he would then pat my face with his paw very gently. I can't resist.  He was adopted and then one of the children got severe asthma (she tried nebulizers) and it didn’t' work out. Sammy has been around young children. Sammy would probably do well with small dogs. He has been around my two medium to large dogs.
