Well hello there! I’m Abraham, and I’m looking for a furr-ever home. My foster mom is awesome, so I’m looking for someone like her!
And talk with, too! I’ll say hello every morning, and I enjoy watching the birds outside my window as the sun comes up. If you’re sleeping in I’ll be sure to check on you from time to time, but if you’re up early, well, wherever you are, that’s where I’ll be.
I can be a little needy at first but after a week or two I will be right at home. Maybe much sooner! My fur is SUPER soft, and I love to be petted. I will curl up in your lap (or in your bed) for some loving, but I won’t overstay my welcome. Don’t worry, I’ll come back later!
My best friend is Preston. I know most folks will only want 2 kittens but he and I are buds and we are hoping to stay together!
Abraham was a kitten we adopted out in 2019, and his human parents unfortunately passed during the pandemic, so he was returned to us.
We got his shots updated, and he's ready to roll. He has the best laid-back attitude, and loves to be with his humans. As you see from the photo, he is a lapcat. He loves to be with you!! He is also playful, still, he loves the laser pointer. See his video! He drinks water off his paw!
After Abraham was returned to our rescue, he was being fostered in a busy home with a hyper dog, and several extremely playful young adult cats. Combined with the change of home, he got too stressed and he was diagnosed by 3 veterinarians with stress-related urinary inflammation. This is very common in male cats.... he would go to the pan multiple times a day and pee very small amounts, keeping his bladder empty. He was tested for crystals, infection, checked for bladderstones, and was all clear, so definitely stress.
We moved him to a quieter foster home with one senior cat, where he had his own "room" and we let him decompress, and he was able to wean off the stress meds & special food. He is doing very well, his urinary issue is over!
So, he will need a quiet forever home where he can relax and live the good life with hopefully his buddy Preston, and older children.
