DOB appx May 2007, natural mink Tonkinese, neutered male. We have to say he's a "mix" because we have no papers, but the vet said he looks Tonkinese with his greenish-blue eyes. Purebred Siamese rescue also contacted us, and told us this is a "natural mink" coloring.  Found on the street in Rockledge in late May.

Mao  is very vocal, and loves to put his paws on your shoulders and be picked up like a baby. When you are holding him, he will lick your chin and nuzzle his face into your neck and purr up a storm. He will let you hold him for HOURS.

He was already neutered, we just updated his shots and got him tested. He had a wound on his rear lower (inside right) leg, & it's healed, but he was limping, he was probably wounded on the street because he was found with an open wound on the inside of his right rear leg. Like he got caught and twisted his leg to get free. Xrays were done. The vet said torn ligaments - swelling is decreasing slowly and so he is healing.

Note Mao does not seem to tolerate other cats for very long. He is outgoing and curious but confrontational.  So we now have him caged.  We've tried several introductions but he's definitely needing a home alone!  He gets jealous and sprays IF you have too many other animals, so a home where he can stay outside would work, OR a home where he gets more attention. He wants nothing more than to be carried around all day long, he loves that!!!  He will stay in your arms for HOURS.

He is fixed so there is not a "tomcat" smell to his urine. Note you must have acreage (zoned AU) to allow your cats outside and they still need to stay on your property. In the city limits, it is illegal with the exception of feral colonies which is a whole different ballgame.
