Zeus was abandoned in March when his owners left him. We are pretty sure the neighbors had to round up whatever animals were left and turn them in.

He was up for adoption at the Eau Gallie location for a couple of weeks. They were making room and we took him. He is a really friendly kitty and fits in well with the other fosters, even on the first day. He just came out of the carrier and started walking around checking everyone out!!!  Talk about an easy transition! (We gave him a dose of Arnica anyway).

Look at those gorgeous coppery-gold eyes!! We've had Zeus now for a couple of weeks so we know his personality. He is a hefty guy (lanky but a solid 13+ pounds).  His fur is thick but short haired, and he has burgundy paw pads, so he probably has some Russian Blue in him.

He likes to put his paws on your shoulders and rub his head on your chin, and snuggle with you. He's ok being picked up. This cat LOVES attention so he needs a home where there is alot of interaction with pets. He's ok with other cats after about a week introduction, supervised. He can be protective of his "space" but he has adjusted here nicely.
