Rare orange female! Most orange cats (90%) are male.
And those eyes....stunning ....
Eve was at the county shelter & was not adopted so was going to be put back on the street if we didn't take her!!
She is very petite, extremely sweet, loves to be petted, OK being picked up. ok around gentle dogs, she was in a foster room with a hyper kenneled dog and doesn't freak out.
She likes having her "space" (i.e., kitties who get too close get a hiss haha) but is OK with other cats in the room. We're hoping to place her in a home to herself so she can be "queen kitty"!
Eve also wants to play and when she's ready and you're not she will nip. That's really her only bad habit. We're trying to break her of it by telling her "no" and giving her a small firm touch on her forehead (this is how the mom tells them 'no' when they are kittens).
Eve is a lapcat too! Note she is fiv+, but that's not a big deal. See our info under the FIV Demystified menu.
