Description:
Pirate came off the street and we noticed his left eye was small - we think it was either injured at a young age or a congenital defect. We are socializing him and his buddies Ellen and Orange Crush together (all came from trapping at feral colonies).
Pirate is now completely socialized, runs around the house with great confidence. Very playful with other kittens. We did go to the eye specialist. It was a birth defect & the eye is now removed to avoid infection because there was a gap between the eye lid and the small eye he had, which had no sight. We were able to get a new photo after his surgery and healing - he's very active so most of his photos are blurry :)
See Pirate's video - he is extremely playful and this was 2 days after his eye was removed, he is unstoppable!!
PAWS adopts out kittens in pairs, or adopts to a home with another young kitty (3 years old, or so).
