Kiko's sister, Kimberly (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
Description: Kiko was born to a feral momcat and hand-caught on 4/19. He tamed up overnight (it's easy at that age, 4 weeks) and came to rescue. We are still trying to trap his siblings and momcat.
Note he tested positive for FIV but that's not a big deal, because at this age he is only reflecting momcat's antibodies. 99% of kittens test negative after their immune system kicks in. You can read about FIV on this website; basically it is only spread by mating (he will be fixed) and "tomcat-style" fighting (which of course won't be happening).
PAWS adopts out kittens in pairs, or adopts to a home with another young kitty (3 yrs or so).
Here is why -- this is the best article we have found to explain: http://meowcatrescue.org/resources/articles/12/single-kitten-syndrome/
If you are interested in adopting, please go to www.pawsfla.com and click on the Adoption Policy menu, from there you will find the online application link.
