Description: DOB appx 2002, this is a TWENTY POUND CAT!!! Hugo was a stray cat who was "fixed" by the county so he has a slight left eartip. He is okay with other cats, and loves food (obviously). Please note that you should NEVER diet a cat without veterinary supervision. The cat can go hepatic in a very short time (liver failure) -- the problem can start in just 2-3 days!! Did you know this?? Probably not. And...after a few costly blood tests, IF the problem is treatable (only 1 of 4 feline liver problems is treatable).... Treatment for hepatic lipidosis is expensive and frustrating -- it requires a feeding tube to be surgically inserted and you must feed the cat using this method. There is a higher survival rate than without the tube, but survival is not guaranteed. DON'T DIET YOUR CAT WITHOUT YOUR VET!!!
