Description:
DOB appx 8/1/06, DSH orange mackeral tabby tuxedo (white chest and feet). Neutered male. Very sweet and purrs all the time. VERY ACTIVE. Loves attention. He is a great little kitten and was dropped off at a fast food restaurant to the manager, the people were going to dump him at the pound. PAWS almost adopted him twice but the adopters both shied away due to the care his eye socket would require. PAWS had an emergency board meeting and agreed to go for his surgery. By the time all his vet care is done this will be a $1000 kitten. The vet visits so far are $150, the surgery was $666, and there is still one more follow-up appointment with the opthalmologist. (The surgery was done 10/25). The surgeon said his eye had been punctured and that was probably why it was so small and that it probably would have been a constant source of irritation because the puncture wasn't healing. Gross! Poor little Jack! He is running around like he didn't ever have major surgery, the very next day...trying to keep him "quiet" after surgery is a joke! The vet techs said he purred constantly until they knocked him under for surgery. PAWS needs donations to pay for the surgery. Please put "Jack" on your donation and remember it's tax-deductible, thanks!
