Age appx 2-3 years, DMH Maine coon mix brown mackeral tabby tuxedo - -MANX. FIV+, this cat had a huge sarcoma on his left front leg and we had 3 vets all tell us to amputate - so we did. He gets around just fine and is a sweetheart. Would be a perfect companion for an older person who doesn't want a kitten jumping all over the place and tripping them up. Some vets advise to have FIV+'s only in a house; in research at Cornell University, and in rescue, it is documented that FIV doesn't spread easily. In altered cats, it is spread by bite, so if all the cats are passive, then it does not spread.
