Description:
This sweetie was adopted from the county shelter and the family was unable to keep her. She is STUNNING and very easygoing!
Shellie's left front leg would not bend, our vet did xrays & it is an old injury which is too old to fix now. Since we've had Shelley, she has lost circulation in the leg, a couple of her toes are always cold, & the only option we had was amputation. So we did a fundraiser and Shelley is now a 3-legged cat. She seems much happier.
She also must have an low, open (no lid) litterpan, due to her limited ability to get in and out.
We have had other cats in the enclosure with her, if the other cats are not aggressive everything is fine. She also enjoys kittens. If she feels threatened, though, she will go outside the pan. So we believe Shelley will do best in a home by herself. She is fine with dogs, too.
